The most fun and most awaited function  of Indian weddings is the ladies Sangeet when all the guests are super excited to dance. They can dance or not, that is a different story all together.  So the other day I was listening to the song “Punjabi wedding song” and this was the post idea origination. I thought I will list the songs best to dance on your mehendi and sangeet kinda functions. During my sil’s wedding we were so confused about song  and I couldn’t find the perfect playlist online, you know like the ready to copy types. (Don’t blame me, being into IT often makes you want to go the easier way). So here’s my list of Bollywood songs for sangeet from the latest hits of 2014 (almost).

These are the one’s you could make anyone in your party shake a leg on. I have linked the songs with their respective YouTube videos. So You could learn the steps if you don’t plan to hire a choreographer. The most important thing at sangeet ceremonies is to enjoy the dance. At this point nobody really judges how you dance.   11. Great compilation, these songs is so grand. It’s perfect! I’ve been searching also for Sangeet songs for my friend’s sangeet party. Every time I hear the sort of music that’s played at many Delhi weddings, I just want to groove into it and ask the DJ the title of each songs. One of the Hindi song that I always heard in most of the the Ladies Sangeets party was “Jogi Hum to Lut Gaye Tere Pyaar Mein” from Shaheed – it’s such a lovely song, and so beautifully sung.

  12. HA HA..Fun post!! Some punjabi songs r more than 10 years old and still go tall in all shaadis…”Tare gin gin—Sukhbir”, “sauda khara khara” again by sukhbir….. !! I am ready to dance on them even on one leg…Now dont give me that look!!!
