Wear anklets to a party and do a Chammak Challo there 😀 Being an Indian we all would have worn anklets atleast once in our life. I remember having a pair when I was in primary school . After that I never liked wearing anklets and never bought one. But now I got a thing for the single anklets, planning to get a silver one :D.
Originally anklets were worn as a traditional ornament by Indian women. It was also worn by the Egyptians during ancient times. But now a days it’s quite a trend among Europeans and we Indians have limited wearing them to weddings and other family functions(most of us don’t even own a pair of anklets like me 😛 ). The anklets are usually made of silver or gold , however in certain Hindu communities gold ornaments are not worn below the waist as it is considered as disrespect to goddess Lakshmi. All these are beliefs we can say 😀 Now a days we wear what we love and what we are comfortable in.
For an Indian outfit a pair of beautiful anklets looks stunning, You can wear them along with your salwar, saree or lehenga 🙂
A pair of Funky anklets or the newly named ‘foot jewelry’ is apt for a beach party or a beach wedding.
The noisy pair of anklets looks the most cutest when wore by kids. Parents make the toddlers wear noisy anklets just to keep a track of their movement, clever ain’t they. Aww… how cute are these little feet ^_^
The simple ones like these can be worn on a daily basis as it goes well even with your formal wear.
So girls, add a feminine touch to your look with these pretty anklets 🙂 . Do you own a pair of anklets?
