26th June 2015 will be an unforgettable day in the history United States of America for a very important reason. The US supreme court’s  verdict about same-sex marriage has triggered a wave of happiness all over the world. As per US Supreme Court, now same-sex marriage is legal in all 50 states of United States of America, the hashtag Love wins is trending on all social networking sites. This is the best example of Equality. Other than United States of America, only 20 countries has legalised Same-sex marriage. Below is the list of countries and a map about the same. 

Theknotstory is all about love, relationships and family and we welcome the new rule by supreme court. 

Here’s the full list of countries who legalised same-sex marriage, according to the Human Rights Campaign, in alphabetical order:

  1. So awesome the US finally approved it! Glad my own country, Belgium, has allowed it many years ago. But I do find it to be so weird Australia is still behind, hopefully soon, they’re such a big country.
