I love cars and I am so passionate about them that I have even missed trains because I was checking out beautiful cars. I love fast and furious movie series too. They brought a new style which many of us wanted and showed how it would look like when you drive the super charged cars with NOS cylinders and what street races looked like. Each movie became more famous. Until now they had made 6 movies and this year Furious 7 the 7th one came. Being a fan of the Fast & Furious I went to watch it and thought I should share my view.
Furious 7 was the most hyped movie among this series because of the death of one of the lead actors Paul Walker. He died in a car crash which was pure coincidence. Fans and other people all over the world mourned his death. Furious 7 shooting was in progress and he died in the middle of the same. At once we thought they are going to scrap the movie or re-shoot it with changes (since Paul is the main character in the movie). Contrary to what we thought, the movie was shot and completed without loosing its essence. Like the previous editions, this one also began with a scintillating action scene, but this time it was not about the usual stuff. It is personal, more about family. The movie caught pace immediately and at times I felt the adrenaline rush in the movie.
In between the movie becomes slow too, but you will never get bored or irritated. The action sequences are those where you wouldn’t take your eyes off the screen. They may not be a real life scenario, but for a movie goer and someone who loves cars & adventure, these are some good action. There are couple of good fight scenes and this time some more mainstream actors like Jason statham, Kurt Russell, Djimon Honsou, Tony Jaa etc. This time things were more global 🙂 Also some good custom made cars were used for some scenes. When your eyes are glued on the furiously customed cars and action sequences, Tyrese Gibson adds the flavor of comedy to the movie.
This is not a review, but an experience. If someone asks me whether I loved this movie, yes. This is a good movie which will keep you entertained with scenes which you will never see in any other movies. There are some awesome background tracks throughout the movie and you’re gonna have a tough time picking up your jaws from the floor watching the cars 😀 .If you’re a Paul Walker fan and you’ve been following The F&F series, like me, then this movie is gonna be an emotional one for you.
Other than all this, last five minutes made this movie really special. When you loose someone in real life and have to bid adieu to that person, even if it’s a movie, it is not easy to handle. This part is shot so beautifully that it will make your eyes wet.
This if for you Paul, R.I. P and like Dom said
“No matter where you are, whether it’s a quarter-mile away or halfway around the world, you’ll always be with me and you’ll always be my brother.”
Rating – ****
Secret : There is an Indian actor in this movie and he is having a decent role unlike Anil Kapoor.
