A perfect Sunday evening with the best company indulged in delicious food. Anticlock serves the best authentic Kebabs, succulent Mutton Burrah, ever reminiscent Kerala Fish curry, Chicken Rezala, delicious Shahi Tukda, Gulab Jamun… I can go on and on! They perfectly light up the mood with their retro music playlist. Located inside the Park Inn premises adjacent to Moolchand Metro Station, Anticlock is definitely going to attract the local eyes.

A major plus point at this eating house is a menu that takes you on a tour across India. With a variety of dishes from cuisines of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Goa, Lucknow, Bengal etc., Anticlock gives you a feeling of being home. We were in a mood to try mutton starters and the first thing we ordered was the Nawabi Seekh Kebab followed by the Mutton Burrah as this is one of the specialties of AntiClock. The flavoursome Nawabi Seekh Kebab can give a challenge to any Seekh Kebabs in the city. The Mutton Burrah was a homerun! Perfectly cooked and flavourful tender mutton with the right mix of spices which tickles your taste buds. While we were yet to come out of the foodgasm, there came Veg Momos & Mushroom Galauti Kebabs which our friend had ordered. The Mushroom Galauti Kebabs were unlike any other Kebabs we have ever had and surprisingly the veg version of Galauti Kebabs and Momos were delicious.

The first shot we attempted at the appetizers hit the bulls-eye. Next up main course!

For the main course, we stumbled across some very familiar dishes namely Dal Makhani, Rice & Naan and ordered these along with the Chef’s specialty, the Chicken Rezala. To make it a little more exciting we ordered the Kerala Fish curry which was almost as close to what we get back home with the correct amount of tanginess of Kokam, the secret flavour behind any Kerala Fish Curry. Chicken Rezala with its rich thick cashew flavoured gravy goes best with breads.

Final bout: Desserts! We tried their Special Shahi Tukda, a must try! Unlike the regular ones we get in Delhi this one was layered with the right amount of sweetness. Laks was not happy sharing this 😛 . Not to forget the piping hot Gulab Jamun, with the melt in mouth situation 😀 .

We had a little chat with the Chef Sushmit himself, the architect behind all the toothsome food. We talked about the different flavours and masalas in the Kerala Fish Curry & other delicacies.

What gives Anticlock an edge over its competitors is that they will serve you food till 4 in the morning. Beat that! They start at 7:00 PM and serve till 4 am. Delhites, stop searching for places to curb the midnight hunger. This is the place to be!
