It’s wedding season in the Bolly-land! Recently the festivities of the Ahana Deol wedding wrapped up. These weddings are often a treat to the eyes where you see the latest trends in wedding lehengas, sarees and jewelry. So I bring you what they wore at the Mehendi, Sangeet and Reception and my views on what I liked along with my trousseau wishlist 😀 Since Hema Malini is a Tamilian iyengar most of the wedding functions had a south Indian inclination too.
Both the Deol sisters are fabulously beautiful 🙂 A special mention to the colorful matching hand slings of esha deol :D. Everything has to be stylish. We hope she gets well soon!
The Mehendi :
The bride to be was decked up in a Neeta Lulla dark blue lehenga with floral ornaments.
2. The Sangeet :
The Deol family oozes of beauty and style. What I like the most is simplicity is elegance! The makeup hair and jewelry does make a mark when done in the right amount. Always remember less is more
3. The Reception:
The reception had a lot of Bollywood presence. While most of choose to go a little silk and look-wise closer to the Tamilian wedding look other’s on the other hand chose to be modern and contemporary.
This wedding does give a pleasant change where silk sarees are concerned. If styled properly silk does not ever lose its elegance and style.
